That said, she has extensive experience working with children and adults of all ages. She is experienced in treating a wide range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, self-esteem concerns, and relationship concerns.

Young Adult Transitions

Having worked extensively in university counseling centers, Liza specializes in helping young adults navigate this transitional period of their lives. Whether that transition is into a college environment or otherwise, the early adult years present unique challenges, and she provides support for her clients throughout that process.

Women's Mental Health

Both in her therapy practice and academically as a researcher at Wayne State University, Liza is passionate about guiding women towards a greater sense of personal empowerment. Through the therapeutic process, she focuses on helping women gain insight, create positive belief systems, and increase both their self-confidence and self-love.

Anxiety and Depression

Two of the most common, yet emotionally isolating struggles that affect people today, Liza is experienced in treating anxiety and depression in all age groups. She is trained in a wide range of skills and therapeutic techniques that help her clients heal and gain freedom from these concerns.

Children and Adolescents

Liza also specializes in counseling children and adolescents, and greatly enjoys providing them with creative, healthy ways to process their emotions.
